The resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ along with His crucifixion are the most monumental events in history. There is no salvation for the believer without them and there is no victory or hope without the resurrection. There is a call to remember the risen Christ as something that Christians need to continually bring to mind and heart. The women at the empty were told by the angel "remember" what Jesus had told you. Sometimes Christians need a continual reminder of the goodness of our Lord in saving us. We need to remember the infinite value of what Christ accomplished by dying and victoriously rising from the dead. We are also promised a great and wonderful resurrection from our graves at the last trump. We that know and love the Lord will be raised incorruptible.
