Who We Are

Berean Baptist Church is a group of like-minded believers who are committed to clear, uncompromising Bible exposition and the proclamation of the gospel.  If you live in the East Columbus/Pickerington area, or are just passing through, we would love to welcome you to one of our Sunday services or our mid-week Bible study and prayer time.

What We Believe

We believe that God's Word is wholly sufficient for all things, and that God has granted us, "all things that pertain to life and godliness" in His Holy Word (2 Peter 1:3). His Word is relevant, life-changing, alive, and "sharper than any two-edged sword." (Hebrews 4:12). Therefore, Scripture is our guide, and the governing authority in our lives. At Berean the message is timeless, and the gospel is central. Through expository, book-by-book preaching, we preach the truth of Christ's vicarious death for our sins, His resurrection life for our salvation, and His authority over all.

Our Vision

At Berean, we want to not only be salt and a shining light in our community, but we also strive to see the church edified, built up, and constantly conformed into the image of Christ. We want to be unified as one body in Christ. Unified in mind, action, faith, spirit, and building each other up in love, humility, patience, peace, and kindness; always contending to be conformed into God's image while looking to Jesus, who is the author and finisher of our faith.
