A Well-Lived Life

Series: 2 timothy Topic: Faith Scripture: 2 Timothy 4:6-8, 1 Corinthians 9:24-27, Jude :3, Hebrews 13:17, Revelation 4:10-11

Paul had reached the end of his ministry and his life.  He would soon be facing a martyr's death and now speaking as one that would soon be in the presence of the Lord.  This would in many ways be Paul's obituary.  He had a sacrificial life and the end was always the drink offering and so this is his finale.  In his final thoughts of his life, that is his epitaph, he said he had fought a meaningful and good fight for the Lord.  He had run the race with certainty and finished the course that God gave to him of preaching and evangelizing the lost of the Gentiles.  He had kept the faith and had never wavered or was deterred from contending for truth and the Word of God.  The result would be that he would receive a crown of righteousness on God's intended day.
