Perilous Times Will Come (3)

We are all aware that we live in dangerous times, but not all of us are aware of the perils that lie for the Church.  The Bible warns Christians that we live in seasons of perilous times that seem to intensify as we draw closer to the return of Christ.  The evidence is found in the dramatic self-love that is seen in our culture.  The Word reminds us that such love is often seen by their hatred of good because it often infringes on their personal desires that are wicked.  It is evidenced by their disloyalty to spouses, family, church, God and others.  They are headstrong and recklessly pursue getting their own way.  They are conceited and about getting their own way.  They love pleasures instead of loving the Lord their God with all their heart, soul and mind.
