Glimpse Of Christ's Glory

It is hard for the human mind to fathom the greatness that awaits us in seeing the glorified Christ and His kingdom.  In our passage Peter, James and John are given a glimpse of the coming kingdom.  They see the transfiguration of the Lord Jesus with His glorious changed face and body that displays this incredible and stunning light.  They get to meet Moses and Elijah that represent the witness of the Law and the Prophets from the Old Testament.  They verify that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God and speak to Him of His coming sacrifice on the cross.  The glory cloud comes along with the heavenly Father and also declares Jesus as the glorious Savior and God.

Primary Scripture: Luke 9:28-36
