Characteristics Of A Deacon (2)
Deacons in the church are at their best when they are biblically driven and not driven by pragmatics. The Bible gives us a rundown of qualifications and characteristics that express their function and even their hearts. The deacon is a man that has been tested by his serving the Lord and showing leadership in both church and family. His family is in control as he leads his home. He shows a track record of being a godly leader, a good family man, a good example to the church and one who seeks God's glory through serving Him.
