Church Leadership Issues

The church at Ephesus was having many problems and the source of it was coming from poor leadership from the men.  This had led to false teachers and doctrine entering the church, it led to women flaunting themselves and usurping authority in the church and also other problems of ungodliness and unbiblical behavior.  Paul encouraged them by reminding them that a pastor is to have a calling that should originate from a passion and pursuit in his life to do good work for the Lord.  The pastor is to be a man and to be used as an overseer spiritually in the church.
