Problem Women In the Church

Paul has been urging Timothy to stay on at Ephesus because of all the problems at the church.  The problems were many from bad doctrine, salvation concerns to problem people that were both male and female.  The church had a struggle with their men and their leadership in worship and in prayer, 2:8.  Timothy was told "in like manner" the women were also creating a problem in the church with their becoming a distraction in the worship of the church.  They were flaunting their appearance seeking attention with sexually provocative clothing and displays of their wealth.  Paul reminds us that women need to have beautiful hearts when they worship.
