Saved For God's Warfare

Most Christians don't seem to be aware that there is a spiritual battle going on.  It is no secret that God does battle the devil.  We are reminded that as those that belong to the Lord we also are involved in this warfare against the devil and the demonic.  In this passage Timothy was to do battle with the teaching of false doctrine and ungodliness.  There were two men that were responsible for the wicked teaching in the church at Ephesus.  Timothy was to deal with this struggle of ungodly behavior.  The two men were to be delivered to Satan, that is expelled from the church for the purity of the church and the possibility of these men being saved.
