Truths From The Garden

Jesus comes to the Garden of Gethsemane with the disciples and the day had been long.  The Lord enters with Peter, James and John who are exhausted and sorrowful.  The Lord goes to pray and to speak with the Father and is in agony over what awaits Him.  The agony isn't about the physical affliction of the arrest and crucifixion, but it is about the cup of God's wrath.  The Lord knowing the enormity of taking the sins of millions on Himself as well as the wrath of God and His alienation requests it might be taken from Him.  The disciples forget the blessing of prayer and our Lord always seeks to do the will of the Father.
