Glorious, Suffering Christ Pt. 2

Isaiah 53 is unique in it's greatness in the Old Testament for it's clear prophecy of Christ's sacrificial death on the cross.  But, is often misrepresented and or neglected by many preachers.  The chapter deals solely with the substitutionary death of our Savior and yet many wrongly want to make it about physical healing as some strange promise in this passage.  As the chapter ends it reminds us of the intercessory work of Christ as our Mediator or go between, who pleads our case as the bridge to heaven.  The chapter reminds us that Jesus is the conqueror, the King of Kings who will at His 2nd Coming bring His people with Him to share His victory.
