Examining Our Faith - Part 3
Pride often plays a part in the salvation process, most of the time it's the person needing saved. But sometimes the family member who thinks Junior is good enough or his decision from a little boy that obviously wasn't real gets in the way. There is a distinct work of the Spirit in our lives that will bear witness to us. This is accomplished by the illuminating work of the Spirit, giving us the desire to praise and pray, as well as fruit in our lives to bear testimony and to minister. Also, one of the keys of a truly regenerate person is if they love the brethren. If we hate Christians and simply ignore them, it isn't a good indication of being saved, 1John 2:9-11.
Primary Scripture: 1 John 2-3
