What a beautiful example of fellowship with God was torn down by Adam with his sin in the Garden. God would meet with Adam and Eve on a regular basis in the cool of the night and they would joyously fellowship. All that changed with Adam's sin. He now wanted to hide from God and offer deceptive excuses for his disobedience. God graciously wanted to get Adam an opportunity to repent and repair some of the sinful damage. But, sin has a way of alienating us from God and causing us to fight the need to repent and confess our sins to Him.
