The Joy Of Worship
Series: Worship Topic: Joy in Worship Scripture: Nehemiah 8:1-12, Galatians 5:22, Psalm 16:11, Acts 2:28, 1 Thessalonians 2:19, 1 Peter 1:4-9, Philippians 1:3-7
It is wonderful to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We live in a difficult and challenging world and our worship of the Lord should bring Christians great joy. In Nehemiah, Ezra read the Word of God to the people and they grieved over their sin and they were told this worship was meant to remind them of joy in the Lord which is our strength. John reminded his readers in 1 John that God revealed this book that their joy might be full. Our ultimate joy will be when we stand someday in Glory with our Savior. We are daily reminded to be joyous in our salvation which will never fade away.
