Series: Worship Topic: CHRISTMAS HOPE Scripture: Luke 1:5-17–26-33

We are well aware that sin caused the world to plunge into darkness and the only hope that anyone has is in Jesus Christ.  The blessing of Christ coming into the world and going to the cross for our sins reminds us that this is a season of hope.  We find many want government or money to save them and when they find out that it can't, life loses its hope and luster.  But, the blessing of knowing that Jesus came in the nick of time or the fullness of time as the light of the world makes Christmas an encouraging time.  Our God is the God of hope.
