BEING FRUITFUL

Peter reminded the reader that God gives by His divine power to the saved the things necessary to live a godly and fruitful life.  There is a need to diligently pursue and obey God's will with these fruits.  These seven virtues give us an idea of what a Spirit led person looks like.  They are someone that the Spirit has worked in their hearts and gives our Lord glory by their pursuit of this fruit.  The lack of fruit coming from someone may indicate they lack assurance or perhaps never saved
