BEING A BEREAN

There is a lot to like about the Bereans in this passage.  The Bereans when they heard Paul preach the Word did not brush him off.  They were noble in that they were excited and eager to find out if Jesus is indeed the Messiah that Paul preached in the synagogue.  The Bereans did this by searching the Word of God.  The result was that when people use the Word the Holy Spirit uses it in a remarkable way for all those who desire to know the Savior.  This is a classic passage on the priority of the lost and the saved to search the scriptures.
