Challenges Of Love

It seems strange that love is so hard for people to understand since it is the primary goal of most people.  Unfortunately most people take their cues from the world instead of the Word of God.  The first complication most people come across is that people tend to think of love as something that they acquire instead of something they might give to others.  People don't know or can't grasp the love of God in Christ Jesus who lovingly and sacrificially gave Himself so that sinful people could be saved.  We are challenged to love the Lord our God and to love our neighbors and this is hard for the modern person.
