Responding To Christ's Empty Tomb

We are delighted that the wonderful account of Christ dying on the cross does not end there.  The victory is not complete apart from the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the grave.  Paul reminds us that there is no salvation apart from the resurrection.  Also, there is no salvation unless a person also believes that Christ rose from the dead, Rom.10:9-10.  We are moved by the response of not only the disciples running to the empty tomb, but particularly that of Mary Magdalene.  Mary was the first to see the empty tomb, the first to speak to Jesus and in the end she wanted to cling to Christ and tell others of His resurrection.
