Believing The Savior

June 24, 2018 Series: Gospel Of John

Topic: Resurrection Passage: John 20:19-31

There was great fear after the resurrection of Jesus Christ.  The disciples were so alarmed that they locked themselves into their place and Jesus came through the locked door and calmed them.  They were fearful that it wasn't the physical body of Christ and they struggled with believing He arose.  They believed when Jesus showed His wounds and ate fish with them.  He commissioned them to go and tell others and preach forgiveness by believing in Christ alone.  Thomas wasn't there and he also didn't believe and we are reminded that we are not going to see Christ's wounds in order to believe.  But, we surely are blessed if we believe.
