Transformed Lives
Since the Christian life is more than a ticket to heaven, we are reminded in this passage that it is a life that is transformed and meant to give God glory. The peace of God will rule in the thankful heart of the born again Christian. Peace is not a small deal in the world we live in and it should cause believers to be utterly thankful that they experience it. The Word of God continues to transform us to be like the dear Savior. God's Word is used by the Spirit and those who gladly and wholly partake may be filled with the Spirit. Finally those that are transformed will exalt the name of Christ.
