When Hearts Burn For Christ

We have a historic closing of churches for Easter Sunday.  There will be an emptiness without the church worshiping together the glorious salvation and resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ.  We are reminded of the men walking on the road to Emmaus in Luke 24 when the Lord appeared and walked with them.  This was the same day as the Lord resurrected and they were sad and didn't recognize Him because they really didn't believe.  Jesus gave them the truth of the Word and their eyes were opened and not only did they believe, but their hearts burned with joy and enthusiasm to testify that indeed Christ arose from the dead and He is the Son of God that was pointed to in Scripture.
