We are reminded that we are forgetful people that God prompts us in Joshua 4, he had Israel make a memorial of stones. We have the Lord's Supper to remember the Lord Jesus and His death. God on the other hand never forgets. He never forgets His people, He never forgets His promises, and the service of His people. We also would be wise to remember some truths like to love the Lord, or to pray without ceasing and all of His benefits.
