God's Fellow Workers
Series: 1 Corinthians Topic: Weak Christians Scripture: 1 Corinthians 3:1-15, 1 Corinthians 1:11-17, 2 Corinthians 5:9-11
Paul was concerned about many of the Corinthian believers that they were not growing in the Lord. He called them babes. They were showing evidence of being in the flesh and not in the Spirit. These people were workers for the Lord that weren't accomplishing much because of their spiritual backwardness. These same people were under the false notion that the ministers were somehow more than what they really were. Paul clarified that God is the power and the ministers are servants that are just messengers. God's fellow workers will someday be judged at the Judgment Seat of Christ for the works they have done for Christ. There will be those whose works will be burnt because their motives were wrong and there will be others whose works will last and will receive crowns.
