Call to Glorify the Lord

Topic: God's Glory Passage: Luke 17:11-19, Luke 6:17-19, Leviticus 13:1– 14:57, Psalm 115:1, Romans 2:14, 1 Corinthians 10:31, 1 Thessalonians 5:18, Psalm 103
This passage of the ten lepers that were healed by the Lord Jesus is a great reminder to Christians. We are reminded that few offer glory and thanks to the Lord, as in this case there was only one. The problem is usually two-fold the first being that few are saved and secondly sometimes believers need to be reminded of the goodness of the Lord to them. The reminder is the propriety and blessing of offering to our Lord from hearts that have been changed, the glory and thanks that He is due. It is sometimes sobering how cold we can be toward the Lord at times. There is a need for our hearts to be warmed again in seeking God's glory and wanting to offer thanks.
Primary Scripture: Luke 17:11-19
