Preach It Timothy!

Paul the great servant of the Lord gave advice to Timothy that churches and pastors still need to carefully listen to, that is to preach the Word. In a time when churches are doing most everything else, with little preaching of the Word, this should be a continual reminder. It is a charge, a solemn commission that will be judged by the Lord who hears and sees us. The message of the church is to preach the Word and the messenger is to do it in season and out of season, it doesn't matter if the audience is entirely receptive. The preacher must be willing to do this realizing this is God's breathed out words and it is meant to change the sinner, encourage change and patiently teach scripture.
