Value Of One Lost Sinner (2)

Passage: Luke 15:11-32
The Prodigal Son is one of the most well-known parables in the Bible. We see the sinful son waste all of his possessions living a life of debauchery. He comes into poverty and a beggar with none to care for him or about him. He comes to his senses and that was the beginning of repentance to understand how low he sunk and how deep his sin. He comes home seeking a little mercy from his father who he had sinned against. His father instead of beating him and making him a servant gave him grace, reconciliation and restoration. The Pharisees were like his brother and were contemptuous. Christ is the picture of the father because He receives all of us repentant sinners with this same joyous and welcoming love.
