Topic: Small things Passage: Ecclesiastes 10:1, Zechariah 4:10, Isaiah 53:3, Proverbs 22:1, 1 Kings 3:1, Deuteronomy 7:7
There is a notion on the part of many that small things really don't count. We are used to the media frenzy of bigger is better and that we all want to be part of something big. The Bible reminds us of the great importance of small things, after all wasn't baby Jesus born in a tiny stall with no one there to welcome Him except His mother and father? Do we despise His birth and God's eternal plan? We know that even most of His disciples left Jesus because they despised His eternal plan. Even Israel was chosen by God not because of their size or impressive resume, but though very small it was God's plan. Let us remember how small sins can grow big.
Primary Scripture: Ecclesiastes 10:1; Zechariah 4:10
