Those Who Follow Christ
In a recent poll given by the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University they concluded that those that claim to be both born again and hold to a biblical worldview are in the vast minority. This means that there are apparently far fewer Christians than many might imagine. Our passage reminds us that being saved indicates that our Christian life is one of transformation and being totally committed to Christ. The true Christian must be willing to have self-denial, self-sacrifice and be submissive to our Lord. We live in a time when churches are more interested in shortcuts and easy believism which facilitates in condemning people to being lost.
