Behavior With God's People

Paul continued to direct Timothy in the care of the church at Ephesus.  They have been struggling and have moved away from the truth that had been imparted to them.  The local church is to behave itself by conducting itself according to what God has given them with His truth in his Word.  This was the case for Ephesus and for all of God's people in His churches.  The behavior that needed to be cared for at Ephesus was their poor doctrine needed to be corrected; their godly conduct was needy; their mission had slipped away and they needed to be told to uphold the truth of God's Word.
