Characteristics Of A Pastor (5)
One of the qualifications of a pastor that characterizes him in the church is that he is to be a godly family man. This means he is to be a biblical example to the flock in modeling what it means to lead a family. The pastor is to rule his home well, meaning that he is to manage his home in the things of the Lord for the sake of evangelizing his children, bringing them up with godly discipline. They are to be submissive to his authority. The Bible indicates if he can't manage his home than how can he manage and care for the church that he is to pastor.
