True Truth
A recent study by Barna Research claims 94 percent of Americans do not hold to a biblical worldview. In this passage Jesus again is being watched by the religious leaders who are angry that Jesus does not keep the Sabbath. The Sabbath for these leaders and those that held to their teaching was a works-salvation, it was the center of their false truth based on their laws. Jesus rightfully claimed to be the Lord of the Sabbath, that is He is the center of truth. The Sabbath was God's work of compassion to give rest on the seventh day. Jesus taught through a healing miracle on the Sabbath that the Lord is more concerned about truth and good than man-made rules.
