Characteristics Of A Pastor Pt. 2
When examining the qualifications of a pastor, it is necessary to be reminded that he functions as an example to the flock. If the pastor is an ungodly example or if the church values other characteristics not found in the Word, it will be a detriment to the church. The world leaves convincing models that are often valued or some churches might seem successful with their models, but the qualities of 1 Timothy 3 is what God demands. God always knows what's best for his people and what really is valuable and helpful for churches. This passage demands the pastor to be clear and disciplined in his thought life.
