Praying For The Lost
An aspect of evangelism that is often ignored is the command to pray for the salvation of others, 1Tim.2:1-4. The passage that is being examined reminds us that there is only one God that can save, not many like the lost frequently like to think, in order to fit their specific desire. We have one mediator, the Lord Jesus Christ, that we come to, that we might have a go-between with God so we might be reconciled for salvation. Christ is our ransom, He not only paid for our sins, but was our substitutionary ransom in giving Himself for our sin. We lift up holy hands that the Gospel will be proclaimed and sinners will be saved.
