Excitement In The Synagogue
Jesus went to Capernaum to teach in the Synagogue. His teaching was always authoritative as the Son of God. His words were always powerful and would astonish the hearers with His gracious speech. In this particular incident there was a demonic man present and the demon screamed out at the presence and teaching of Jesus. We learn that Jesus has power over the supernatural darkness that exists, which includes Satan and his demons. We learn that the demons that are in league with the devil to oppose the Lord and His Gospel and hate to be thwarted. There is much darkness yet today and the answer is always the Lord Jesus.
