Seeking Things Above

The modern Church has gotten caught up with the notion that in order to reach the world, it must offer the world what it likes.  The passage in Colossians 3 indicates that the Church is to offer things above and to live with that in mind.  Perhaps part of the ineffectiveness of the modern Church is because there are so few "seeking those things above."  The New Testament writers along with our Lord Jesus remind us that we are Kingdom people, that is we are citizens of heaven that are just passing through.  We are as citizens of heaven to use methods that are above.
