THE TWO FAMILIES
Adam and Eve Fall in the Garden and seek to then obey God and fill the earth with their new family. Cain immediately shows the effects of sin in the life of their descendants. Later God blessed the Adams with more children and in Genesis 4-5 we are given a glimpse of two families, one that is ungodly and not interested in worshiping or pleasing God, this is the family of Cain. The other family is the believing family, they want to please the Lord and to endeavor to be righteous; this is the family of Seth. There have always been two families in the world of a similar kind, those that are God's family and those that belong to their father, Satan, John 8:42-47. God gives us insight into this in these two chapters.
