Little Servant Of A Big God
This passage reminds us that God sometimes surprises the world and even us by using the weak and the foolish. In Syria there was a great general called Naaman that had the incurable leprosy that would slowly kill him. But, the servant girl taken from Israel and no doubt orphaned and now enslaved, showed remarkable Christ-like qualities in forgiveness toward this man by directing him to Elisha and to the Lord. We are reminded of our own weakness and how God can use nobodies in a remarkable way for His glory.
