Fighting Fear

When fear comes our way we often respond in feeble and unbiblical ways.  We might panic or feel paralyzed by the fear that grips us.  Scripture reminds us of what God told Israel through Moses as they were about to enter the Promised Land.  The Israelites needed to understand that God was going before them and with them.  The Lord wasn't going to leave them on their on their own.  The Lord would also actively do for them and not rest and would give to them what He promised.  When we are lonely and afraid it is of great comfort to know that He will never leave us nor forsake us.  Meanwhile we are encouraged to be strong and of good encourage.  God wants us to respond to what He is doing in our lives.

Primary Scripture: Deuteronomy 31:1-8
