Beginnings Pt. 2

Series: GENESIS Topic: Beginnings Scripture: Genesis 1:26-28, Genesis 2:15-20, John 12:31, Romans 8:22, Revelation 21:11

The book of Genesis is foundational to our beliefs. It tells us that we have been made in the image of God, that is what differentiates us from all other life.  It tells us who we are in this world that says three out of every five people are lonely because they feel not only alone here but in a universe that is impersonal and out of control.  Being made in the image of God allows us to have a personal relationship with the Lord.  Adam was the dominion bearer in the Garden and it was seen by naming the animals and being God's keeper or gardener in Eden.  Sin took away much from Adam and all of us, but someday the King of Kings will establish Himself on the throne and the day will come for a new creation.

Primary Scripture: Genesis 1:26-28; 2:15-20
