The Bible clearly tells us that it is the power of God that saves us and it is also clear that it is His power to keep us or guard us according to Jude. The great doxology from this passage reminds us of the joy of being secure in Christ and the glory that waits us because of our mighty God. We will be presented faultless with joy that will be unequal of anything that we have experienced. In 1 John we are given a number of proofs of those that have assurance in Christ.
