What God Says About Work

People who we meet like to ask us what we do.  Work is an identifying feature of our lives.  Work is something God does otherwise none of us would be saved as Christ certainly did a sacrificial work on the cross.  Jesus worked as a carpenter and certainly made work a noble pursuit including Adam being placed in the Garden to tend or work it.  Work is not always a pleasant pursuit because of sin and the curse we often struggle.  In our passage Paul told the church that it was God's will for them to work and that they should not tire of doing good.
