Request To Pray For Us

Some Christians like to keep their struggles in life as a deep, dark secret and never dream of asking the brethren to pray for them.  Paul on the other hand deeply desired the prayers of God's people knowing that the Lord's power might be answered by the prayers of His people.  Paul realized his insufficiency and inability to carry out the ministry without the Lord and so he wanted prayer.  Paul particularly wanted God to give success to the proclaiming the Word and wanted it to run quickly and to be kept from unreasonable and wicked people.
