The Coming of Antichrist

There seems to be both interest and misinformation about the Antichrist.  He is often seen as the mysterious, ugly character in movies and books that often doesn't bear much resemblance to the Antichrist of the Bible.  The Bible reminds believers that they will be raptured and not be around when he is revealed after the apostasy that occurs.  He will be the catalyst for the Day of the Lord that will trigger great evil upon the earth that will cause God to spill His wrath on him and the earth.
