Confidence In God

We all have or will have our backs against the wall and we will find ourselves helpless and without strength.  As Christians we find our reliance and help always comes from the Lord who is a present help in times of trouble.  Paul was aboard literally a sinking ship with many desperate people that seemed destined to perish.  But, Paul was confident in the Lord's help and trusted Him.  Paul conveyed that confidence to all who were on board, despite the fact that he was a prisoner.  When the Lord is our help and our confidence is in Him, we may lead and help people in the mercy of God even in the direst circumstances.
