Putting Off The Gospel

Series: ACTS Topic: Gospel Scripture: Acts 24:10-27

This passage holds a classic example of what happens when people continually hear the gospel and put it off.  Paul defended the lying accusations of the unbelieving Jews by saying the whole trial was a struggle of Jewish theology and Paul's conscious was clear about being a rebel or a heretic or a blasphemer.  But, Paul had opportunity to give the gospel to Felix and to present him as a sinner that was publicly known for his infidelities along with his wife Drusilla.  Felix put off the Lord and was only interested in receiving a bribe from Paul.  We are reminded there is no neutral position with the Lord and putting off Christ is rejection.
