Paul's Uncommon Devotion
Series: ACTS Topic: The Book of Acts Scripture: Acts 21:1-14
In the early Church there still were prophets and those that the Holy Spirit was giving revelation. Paul was on his way to Jerusalem and was being told that he would be facing a grim future by being imprisoned by Romans. This situation gives evidence of Paul's uncommon devotion to the Lord. Paul would not be deterred from doing what was the Lord's will for his life, even at the cost of his freedom and his life. The warnings came from every direction including a very direct lesson from Agabus showing Paul what would happen to him. The question always is what price are we willing to pay for the Lord?
