Almost any discussion concerning hell will not be considered a welcome topic. But, it is a very important consideration because the Word reminds us that it is the place of the wicked for all of eternity. Hell is often misunderstood by the unsaved as a place where they and their friends will go and have a good time. The Bible tells us it is the second death and that it is a place of punishment for eternity. It will be a place of utter darkness, of eternal unquenchable fire, of endless conscious torment, a place where the lost can never escape. The final and permanent hell is the Lake of Fire.
