Seeking To Be Sanctified

The Word of God reminds us that the true Christian needs to be sanctified.  It is one of the distinguishing characteristics of someone that is born again.  There is an ongoing process of sanctification in the Christian life that God works in us to please Him.  We are sanctified by not only the saving work of Christ, but also by the truth of His Word, John 17:17 that works in our hearts.  We pray that God might continue to cause us to flourish in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and that we might commit ourselves to honor Christ in our lives.
