Finishing The Race With Joy

Paul's idea of joy is hard for the modern Christian who often equates joy with fun. Paul knew that the ministry was filled with hardships and he gladly endured them for the sake of the Gospel and the glory of our Savior. Paul made sure that these Ephesian saints were instructed and discipled as part of the race that he was running until he finished his course. Paul exhausted himself and gave his all so that he would finish the course with joy. He fought the good fight and finished the race well, 2Tim.4:7
